There are many different ways you can make lists and reminders for your operations. Many of us use Outlook tasks, electronic post-its on the computer desktop, or even hard copy post-its, there is no absolute right way to do it…we all use what are comfortable with or what makes us most productive.
I recently switched to a program called Trello to help me stay organized for sim center operations. The program is free to a certain point and cost money if you want to integrate it with other platforms such as Skype, Google Drive, Slack, etc. Then it costs $9.99/mo/user. I haven’t gotten to that point yet, but if you use all the functions, I would say it is well worth the price.
Disclaimer – I am not getting paid by Trello
As you can see from the screen shot below, you have functionality to make cards for various topics such as equipment, things to talk about at the next meeting, etc. Trello offers a click and drag function on the cards to be able to move tasks from one card to another if needed.
